HOLIDAY PARTY

The BAHV has celebrated the holidays in a variety of ways over the years. A part of a regular general membership dinner, as a special “couples” dinner dance, etc.

This year, we are hosting a Holiday Cocktail Reception at the beautiful new Grandview, overlooking the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie. A sumptuous array of foods, an open bar, desserts guaranteed to make Weight Watchers cringe – it will all be there for our members and guests.

And we are encouraging members to make our holiday party their holiday party, by reserving a table in their name for the evening.

We will again be collecting children’s books as part of our Builders Building Literacy campaign, a successful program that has distributed over 10,000 books to Literacy Programs throughout the Hudson Valley.

New this year is a brand new outreach to the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. Proceeds from a Sports Memorabilia Silent Auction will be earmarked for the center.
